The Eastern North Carolina brewery scene is garnering some serious attention these days with more than 50 brewery operations. The birthplace of the Eastern NC Brewery Scene is Duck Rabbit Brewery and its founder, Paul Philippon. Famous for it’s dark beer offerings, this brewery has been the recipient of many top awards.It has also inspired quite a few of Eastern NC’s other breweries.
Stop by for a brewery tour or to check out the tasting room. Grab a pint and relax on the front lawn with friends.

The local café is the bedrock of many small southern communities. For 64 years, Bonnie’s Café has served the Farmville community. This is a great place to gather and dine together, to hear the latest news, and to “solve the world’s problems”. The business closed in 2012 after the owner retired.
Thankfully, in 2019, new owners arrived and updated the kitchen and bathrooms, while leaving the public spaces in their original state, with some major freshening up. Bonnie’s is back and better than ever. This place epitomizes the best that traditional Farmville has to offer.

This great Italian restaurant is Farmville’s hidden gem. The owners moved here from Italy in the last few years. Talk about authenticity! This is “real deal” Italian food.
The owners and staff are so welcoming and eager to please. The food is fantastic and the menu offers far more than just pizza. Sit down and enjoy one of the most popular spots in Farmville.
