Farmville Disc Golf Course
Near 3417 NC-121 / Main Street (see map link below)
Farmville’s Disc Golf Course has quickly become an area favorite. With both recreational and advanced tees and a variety scenery, it is equally inviting for a family hoping to spend a fun afternoon outdoors and seasoned players wanting a new challenge.
The terrain is mostly flat, in and out of woods, many holes bordered by meandering Contentnea Creek. The design, developed in partnership with Greenville Disc Golf Association, is creative and takes advantage of natural topography.
The recreational layout is relaxed and open and really fun! The advanced layout is more challenging, demanding precise navigation around trees, water, and rough. The course is open year round, and is free to all.

Nature Trail
3672 N Main Street
Farmville’s newest recreational attraction is its 2.2 mile nature trail park. Developed in 2022, in partnership with the Allen and Stowe families, this trail meanders around Contentnea Creek, surrounding wetlands, and the Farmville Disc Golf Course.
The trail is open, scenic, and has short and long loops. It provides options for both recreational walkers looking for a short outdoor stroll and enthusiastic nature lovers looking for a new perspective. Guests will see a variety of plant and wildlife in their natural habitats.
The bald cypress trees just off the number 4 disc golf hole are a favorite of many naturalists. Animal enthusiasts may get lucky and see a deer up close in the late afternoon or a blue heron resting on the pond bank. Interpretive signs and displays along the trail create opportunities for visitors to learn more about the natural community and environment. The trail is open during daylight hours year round.

Taste of Farmville
December 12
Farmville’s annual event, A Taste of Farmville, is a wonderful display of our generous business owners, musicians, and light refreshments. There are over 27 vendors who will be taking part in this festive time! Start your evening at the Farmville Gazebo as we welcome Santa into town at 6:00pm. Then travel down Main Street to see everything we have to offer. There will also be horse drawn carriages rides and traditional hay rides as well! This evening is about giving back to the residents that support our town all year.
